The story - We have been trying for over a year and a half to have a baby and my body has not been cooperating. So we got tested and I saw the OBGYN and she told me to go to a specialist. So Dr. Dudley met with us, tested me and gave me some drugs to help my body function. We were just getting ready for the help with ovulation but my cycle was not coming and so I emailed my nurse and asked her of we needed to fix my drugs to make my body work and she said if it hadn't come by the 9th to let her know. So I decided to take a test to tell her I wasn't pregnant and then find out how to work the drugs to make my body function. I was surprised to see a faint second line in the first test and it got darker with time. Then a bit later that night I took a different test and it was two dark lines right away. I was flabbergasted. Earl and I were pretty surprised. We talked about how it might be my drugs, or a cyst or something giving false readings. I emailed my nurse and went in for a blood test on the 9th. I found out the results at 2:30pm on the 10th of March! I AM PREGNANT!!!! WOW, what an amazing miracle. I still can't wrap my mind around it. I still have a hard time believing it. But now I get all the crazy changes that have been going on in my body that I have been pushing aside as PMS or my orthotics. WOW - I am growing a human!!! EEK!!! Right now I am 6 weeks and 1 day according to an APP I found. My baby is the size of a blueberry.
This is so surreal. I am so elated.
